Description

The result of collaboration between the Integrated Group for Engineering Research and the Visual Northwest SL company, this project was created to develop an advertising distribution network. Also of great interest is their innovative advertising format: a rotating display that projects images and three-dimensional floating texts.

This advertising medium, called Luminare360, shows colour images and texts, floating in three dimensions. To that end we have employed an array of LEDs in a circular motion at high frequency. Moreover, thanks to the precise way in which the LEDs go on, animated messages and images for advertising are displayed.

Another considerable advantage is that, with this advertising format, text messages can be displayed in real time, while advertising images can be remotely modified. To that end, it boasts WiFi connectivity, which enables it to connect to the internet and build a network of remotely controlled advertising.

The advertising distribution network is managed through a web portal that makes the system extremely dynamic. It is possible to launch localised real-time advertising campaigns in a remote and even unattended way. There is also an option for dynamically modifying images and advertising messages, or having a live display of information, such as sports scores, stock quotes or news.
